Exams, Preventative Care & Vaccinations

Dr. Pinson and the staff are committed to developing a relationship with the client and patient. We strongly recommend annual wellness exams. In addition to keeping your pet current on all recommended vaccines as well as heartworm and flea preventative, annual wellness exams can identify risk factors of common diseases before clinical symptoms become apparent. Regular visits and preventative care are the best recommendations for a longer and healthier life for your pet.

Whether your pet is here for its annual visit or for a medical concern, we take the time to listen and fully examine each animal. This is crucial to providing your pet with the best care and offering treatment alternatives. If your pet has a medical condition, we assure you that it will be diagnosed with care and that you will be given any and all treatment options available.

Healing your pain… changing your life.

About K-Laser

What is Laser Therapy?

Laser Therapy, or “photobiomodulation”, is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to create therapeutic effects. These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Laser Therapy has been widely utilized in Europe by physical therapists, nurses and doctors as far back as the 1970’s. Now, after FDA clearance in 2002, Laser Therapy is being used extensively in the United States.

Patient Benefits of Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy is proven to biostimulate tissue repair and growth. The Laser accelerates wound healing and decreases inflammation, pain, and scar tissue formation. In the management of chronic pain Class IV Laser Therapy can provide dramatic results, is non-addictive and virtually free of side effects.

We offer all-inclusive climate-controlled boarding facilities for our canine guests. We strive to meet the individual needs of each pet by providing them the most comfortable and appropriate boarding accommodations for their size, age, and special needs. In addition to receiving a lot of love and care, everyone enjoys at least four individual potty and play breaks outside in our securely fenced-in backyard.

For our overnight guests we feed Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Digestive Low Fat, a food formulated to promote GI health, which helps to prevent the stress-induced digestive problems that often occur when dogs change environments. Cats boarding with us stay in our comfy cat condos. These condos are spacious and allow for separate eating, sleeping, and potty areas. We provide food, water, and kitty litter for all of our overnight guests and we can accommodate any special needs your cat may have. Cats are housed separately from the dogs so their visit with us is as stress free as possible.
