Ed and Debbie are graduates of the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. Ed and Debbie are committed to providing excellent veterinary care in a compassionate environment.
North Oconee Animal Hospital is a dream realized. Debbie has enjoyed collecting various Noah's Ark figures through the years and together they have always wanted a Noah's Ark themed animal hospital. While still considering a major relocation from Lincolnton/Thomson, Georgia, Ed realized that if the move brought them to the northern half of Oconee County the animal hospital initials would spell NOAH. The architecture, colors and decorations were all chosen to fit within the Noah's Ark theme.
North Oconee Animal Hospital is a system-wide Partner in Education with Oconee County School System and the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Drs. Ed and Debbie frequently volunteer for classroom presentations, support work study programs and participate with science and job fairs.
Ed and Debbie are active members of their church. They have three children: Andrew, Lauren and Emiliann. Andrew is an associate with the law firm Jones Day and his wife Sara Beth works with Pawtropolis and enjoys agility and training dogs. Lauren is working on her PhD in Political Science at Yale University. Emili is now in 10th grade at Prince Avenue Christian School and loves animals, piano, guitar and singing. The entire family enjoys cheering on the Dawgs on beautiful fall Saturdays.
A veterinarian's house would not be complete without pets. The family has Periwinkle, a large "dog-like" cat; Jackson, the dominant poodle on the block; Theodore, a handsome orange tabby cat; and the new guy, Murray, an adorable Golden Retriever.
Ed and Debbie look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!
